Built for the counter, not the boardroom

Liquor retail in India is one of the most operationally demanding kinds of shopkeeping: dozens of brands across five or six bottle sizes each, excise paperwork, gate passes, daily registers, and stock counts that have to be right to the bottle. Most shops still run all of it on paper.

Liquor Pro was built to change that — not with a complicated desktop POS that needs training and an annual licence, but with a phone app a shop owner can install today and a counter person can learn in an afternoon.

What we believe

• AI should do the typing. A 40-line distributor invoice should take a photo and a review, not half an hour of data entry. That's why AI document scanning is the heart of the app.
• Never silently wrong. Every AI read is reconciled against the document's own printed totals, and anything uncertain is flagged for a human. Stock moves only on approval.
• The ledger is the truth. Every bottle in and out is recorded in an auditable ledger, so a discrepancy can always be traced — not argued about.

Who builds it

Liquor Pro is built by Tushar Agrawal, a backend engineer who writes about distributed systems, AI engineering and production reliability on his engineering blog. The same engineering discipline — idempotency, audit trails, reconciliation, defensive checks — runs through every feature of Liquor Pro.

The product today

Liquor Pro ships on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision via the App Store (rated 5.0★) and on Android via direct APK, with a web admin portal for owners. It manages inventory for 1000+ pre-loaded brands, scans purchase documents with AI, runs the daily sales register, tracks cash and expenses, and supports multiple shops with role-based access.
